Technical Manager
Job description
I. Technical standards: Maintaining, implementing, and driving technical standards, systems, and processes.
1. Develop a detailed project plan that includes timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
2. Pursue best technical solution for the project, in cooperation with internal/external experts.
3. Be responsible to oversee all technical matters/specifics of the whole project and reflect into the design, to ensure the constructed facilities to work without critical design mistake.
II. Team leadership: Building and leading teams, allocating resources, and making technical
4. Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, providing guidance,
training, and support as needed.
5. Research and study possible technical solutions applicable/necessary for
the project.
6. Provide technical support and guidance to the project team members.
III. Budget management: Managing budgets and controlling technical budgets
7. Manage budgets and resources, ensuring that technical operations are
cost-effective and efficient.
8. Carry out bidding procedures, equipment procurement according to the
investment plan, budget and timeline of the project.
IV. Communication: Communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
9. Monitor and control the performance of contractors/suppliers according to
contracts and requirement of the project.
10. Coordinate with various teams (internal/external), including design,
construction, production teams as well as the government authority, to
ensure project reach the target.
11. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating
contracts and pricing as needed.
V. Technical support: Managing the technical support team and providing guidance to upper management.
12. Collaborate with other departments, including production, engineering, and
quality control, to identify and resolve technical issues.
13. Be responsible to identify and resolve technical issues and problems that
arise during the project.
VI. Problem-solving: Resolving technical challenges and proactively managing risk
14. Ensure the project complies to quality standards and regulations.
15. Ensure to process internal approval procedure in defined timeline to forward the project without procedural/documentation delay.
16. Maintain accurate project documentation, including document control,
progress reports, technical specifications, and required licenses/certificates.
Job requirements
Education
- University degree preferred in a related technical field (Mechanical, - Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering) or equivalent experience.
Experience
- At least 05 years of prior management experience.
Technical Skills
- Develops project plans; coordinates projects; communicates changes and progress; completes projects on time and within budget.
Soft Skills
- Honest, sense of responsibility, careful, leadership.
- MS Office and ERP system.
- English intermediate level or Japanese intermediate level (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
Special requirements
- Have no health problem for working in cold environment.
