Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) - Requires Chinese

Purpose/Role Summary:

This position focus on Product PPAP execution, supplier capability development and supplier performance management. Also provide on the ground support for DFC supply chain development in Thailand. Report to supplier chain manager of Vietnam office.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Sourcing projects execution and conduct products PPAP

a. Involve initial design review/process review

b. Approval product through PPAP

2. Managing suppliers' performance & Support suppliers’ capability development

a. Report, monitor and work with suppliers execute the actions plan and Trouble shooting with suppliers

b. Conduct process capability assessments and improvement activities to effectively resolve gaps and full-fill Delta business requirement, including quality management system/manufacturing process /finishing validation /testing qualification.

3. Sustain supplier’s process / system standard to meet Delta’s requirement (QMS/manufacturing/finishing/testing)

a. Execute regular audit at suppliers in term of lab testing operations and manufacturing process.

b. Results reporting, manage progress and verify the corrective actions with suppliers if needed.

4. Support local source inspection

a. Proceed source inspection on site per our standard process before shipment.

b. Manage documents of the inspection reports and report testing results to LM.

5. Work with ASCM and DUS team, provide on the ground engineering/quality supports

Critical Skills/Knowledge

1. Bachelor’s degree or above

2. 5+ years’ experience in Quality assurance or Engineering role, including 3+ years’ experience of Quality assurance or engineering role in international manufacturing environment.

3. Supplier Quality management knowledge is needed

4. Familiar with PPAP

5. Familiar with quality management tools (QC 7 tools)

6. Languages: Mandarin (Chinese) and English: Fluent (Required)

7. Good PC skills, Microsoft Office is required (Word, Excel, Power point).

8. SAP skills preferred.
