Service & Application Engineer

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Provide optimum service support for customers through phone, personal visits, etc;

• Identify problems and record solutions for reference purposes;

• Investigate and troubleshoot product service issues;

• Effectively provide technical, application, & engineering support on relevant product group (current & new) to prospective clients as well as internal clients (such as Sales, Service and Production departments);

• Develop and provide technical training modules to ensure the defined technical competency of the Sales and Service departments on the relevant product group;

• Manage relevant documentation (technical / engineering data, catalogues, standards, relevant accessories, competitor comparison information, success stories, etc.) and provide Ad-hoc reporting for relevant product group;

• Act as point of contact between SEW-EUDODRIVE worldwide offices for the relevant product group;

• Support in trade shows and seminars for external clients and assist in preparation of marketing material. (Brochures, catalogues, etc.);

• Develop new opportunities through reviewing industry trends, application knowledge and understanding of various industries requirement in the market; and

• Actively monitor and support to achieve the company’s yearly sales target for the relevant product group.

• Degree / Diploma in Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering /Mechanical Engineering/ Automation control Engineering

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mechanical power transmission or similar industrial field;

• Knowledge of mechanical power transmission Gear motor / Inverter and application is an advantage;

• Onsite service experience is a plus;

• Technical competency to engage customers for application and specification review;

• Analytical mind with good problem troubleshooting skills and willing to learn;

• Ability to work independently and be a strong team player;

• Proficient in MS Office applications;

• Good communication skills and ability to multi-task; and

• Good command of English;

• Working in Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province.
