Senior Legal & Compliance Officer

We are seeking a skilled Legal & Compliance Officer to support our client's manufacturing and commercial operations in Hanoi. The role requires a proactive, hands-on professional with strong expertise in legal compliance, a solid grasp of Vietnamese regulations, and an international mindset. This position will focus on ensuring legal integrity, risk management, and compliance, making a significant impact within our multinational environment. Key Responsibilities: • Legal Advisory: Provide accurate and timely legal advice on various matters, including manufacturing, commercial contracts, employment law, and corporate policies. • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with local and international laws, industry standards, and corporate governance; establish and monitor compliance protocols. • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and other third parties to minimize risk and maximize value. • Regulatory Affairs: Stay updated on legal developments in Vietnam, including changes to labor, trade, and regulatory laws; advise management on implications. • Risk Assessment: Identify legal risks within operations, developing strategies to mitigate potential impacts and proactively manage disputes and resolutions. • Policy Implementation: Assist in the creation, implementation, and monitoring of internal policies and procedures in alignment with legal standards and corporate goals.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law; Master’s degree or additional certifications in Compliance is a plus. • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a legal and compliance role, preferably within an MNC or in manufacturing and commercial sectors. • Language: Proficiency in English (both written and verbal). Skills: • Strong understanding of Vietnamese legal systems, commercial law, and corporate governance. • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused with excellent problem-solving abilities. • Hands-on approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and external partners.
