Product Development Intern

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Design and Development

• Manage and ensure the creation of prototypes, 2D/3D models, and visual assets to

support the development process.

• Ensure designs are not only visually appealing but also functional, durable, and feasible

for production.

• Participate in brainstorming and design review sessions to develop new product ideas

and solutions.

2. Product Documentation

• Develop clear and user-friendly product guides, manuals, specifications and other

product documentation.

• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and aligns with the product development

process.

• Ensure product documentation effectively supports end-users and internal

stakeholders.

3. Collaboration and Coordination

• Work closely with the Product Development team and other departments to ensure

smooth execution of product ideas.

• Identify and address design challenges during testing and development.

• Support marketing and sales teams by preparing design presentations and visual

assets.

4. Reporting

• Provide regular updates and reports on product development progress.

Education & Experience

• Fresher/Third-year or final-year students majoring in Interior Design, Product Design, Industrial Design or a related field, commit to a full-time 3-month internship.

• Prior experience in product design/interior design or internships is a plus but not required.

• Experience or knowledge in project management is an advantage.

Skills & Qualities

• Strong design skills with attention to detail and user needs.

• Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3dsMax, or other design software).

• Basic understanding of technical writing or willingness to learn.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Creative problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to learning.
