Role Summary
The PMO in the dyeing and printing company will oversee and coordinate various projects related to production, quality improvement, process optimization, and customer requirements. The individual will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business objectives while maintaining quality and compliance with industry standards
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Management
o Develop and implement project plans for dyeing, printing, and related processes.
o Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational goals.
o Coordinate cross-functional teams, including production, R&D, and quality assurance.
o Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
2. Process Optimization
o Analyze existing dyeing and printing processes to identify inefficiencies.
o Propose and implement solutions for process improvement and cost reduction.
o Monitor process changes to ensure minimal disruption and improved performance.
3. Quality Assurance and Compliance
o Collaborate with the quality team to ensure all projects meet quality and regulatory standards.
o Maintain compliance with industry-specific regulations and sustainability initiatives.
4. Stakeholder Communication
o Act as the liaison between management, production teams, and clients to align project goals.
o Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
o Handle client requirements, ensuring customization and satisfaction.
5. Data Management and Reporting
o Maintain detailed project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
o Generate performance metrics and analyze results for continuous improvement.
o Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
6. Risk Management
o Identify potential risks related to production, supply chain, or regulatory changes.
o Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks
Job requirements
Qualifications and Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Business Management, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the textile industry.
• Technical Knowledge:
o Familiarity with dyeing and printing processes and machinery.
o Understanding of textile chemicals and their applications.
o Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Soft Skills:
o Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.
Preferred Qualifications
• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Experience with sustainable and eco-friendly textile processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
