Marketing Strategy
- Strategic Alignment: Collaborate closely with BU leaders to understand their business goals, market dynamics, and customer needs. Translate these insights into actionable marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive 360 marketing plans tailored to the BU, encompassing digital marketing, traditional advertising, content creation, events, and other relevant channels. Ensure alignment with the overall group marketing strategy.
- Business Insights: Continuously analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior within the BU. Leverage these insights to identify opportunities and recommend strategic adjustments to enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with BU leadership to develop marketing budgets that align with strategic objectives. Manage budget allocation, monitor spending, and ensure optimal resource utilization for maximum ROI.
- Innovation and Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing. Introduce innovative ideas and strategies to enhance BU’s marketing efforts and maintain a competitive edge.
Marketing Execution
- Marketing Execution Oversight: Act as the primary business owner, collaborate with the shared service marketing team to ensure the timely and effective execution of marketing campaigns, projects, and initiatives aligned with BU-level strategies and objectives. Review and provide strategic input on marketing materials, content, and creative assets to maintain consistency, relevance, and alignment with BU goals.
- Campaign Performance Analysis: Continuously monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives executed by the shared service team. Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make informed recommendations to enhance future marketing strategies. Collaborate with the shared service marketing team to refine tactics, messaging, and targeting based on real-time performance metrics.
- Quality Assurance and Brand Consistency: Ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing materials and assets that adhere to brand guidelines and resonate with BU's audience. Conduct thorough reviews of content, visuals, and messaging to maintain consistent branding and messaging across all marketing executions. Collaborate with the shared service marketing team to implement improvements and optimizations that align with BU's goals and objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the shared service marketing team to align BU-level strategies with broader organizational goals. Collaborate with various internal stakeholders and functions to deliver integrated marketing campaigns.
Client Relationship Management
- Client Relationship Cultivation: Build and nurture strong working relationships with BU stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for all marketing-related inquiries, needs, and discussions. Proactively engage with BU leaders to understand evolving business priorities and challenges, ensuring that marketing strategies and executions are tailored to meet specific BU requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with BU leaders, cross-functional teams, and the shared service marketing function to align strategies and foster a cohesive approach. Engage in regular discussions and workshops to gather insights, provide updates on marketing progress, and gather feedback that informs continuous improvement of marketing initiatives.
- Client-Centric Approach: Champion the BU's marketing needs and objectives within the shared service marketing team, advocating for the delivery of tailored solutions that address BU-specific goals. Serve as a liaison between the BU and the centralized marketing team, effectively translating business priorities into actionable marketing plans while ensuring alignment with group-level strategies.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing initiatives within the BU. Regularly report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization to BU and group leadership.
- Leadership and Influence: Act as a marketing advocate and leader within the BU, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Effectively communicate marketing strategies, objectives, and results to BU teams.
Performance Management:
- Revenue Target Achievement: Take ownership of achieving revenue targets by closely monitoring and optimizing the conversion rate from leads to sign-ups or conversions, implementing strategies to enhance this pivotal metric and contribute to the overall business success.
- Effective Channel Management: Oversee and manage the supply of marketing efforts across diverse channels, including digital and direct marketing. Regularly assess the performance of these channels, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure optimal reach and engagement. Consolidate insights from these channels into comprehensive marketing performance reports.
- Guidance and Feedback: Provide clear direction and actionable feedback to the Marketing Shared Services team to ensure their activities align with the broader business objectives. Foster a collaborative environment where shared goals are met and exceeded, enabling the team to consistently deliver the anticipated results that drive business growth.
- Comprehensive Performance Reporting: Collate performance reports from various marketing channels, compiling valuable data and insights. Synthesize this information into concise and informative weekly reports that can be effectively communicated to client stakeholders. These reports serve as a basis for informed decision-making and refinement of marketing strategies.
External Stakeholder Management
- Build Connections: Establish and nurture positive relationships with external stakeholders, suppliers, and local businesses, fostering collaborative networks that enhance marketing and business endeavors.
- Proposal Evaluation: Methodically assess all proposed marketing activities and invitations, offering well-informed insights and feedback to the Country Head of Marketing to shape effective and strategic marketing plans.
