M&E Department Manager

BROAD FUNCTION OF JOB

The job holder is responsible for management of M&E Team to ensure the smooth and safety operation of the project in a timely manner and compliance with Vietnam laws/ regulations and the Company’s strategies/ policies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning & Project management:

1. Safety QC & supervise construction of new project.

2. Oversee tenant & store reinstatement and renovation works;

3. Participating in and providing support to project design activities including development of project, theories of change.

4. Understanding of tenant’s design guideline, regulation of drawing. Monitoring project activities from approval drawing until complete site handover, checking on-site during renovation time.

5. Managing work schedule and timeline efficiently.

6. In charge of emergency response teams on electrical safety, working safety, fire & explosion prevention.

7. Develop a plan to save operating energy.

8. Maintenance budgeting, and be responsible to set up and manage the OPEX maintenance expenses.

Daily Operation:

1. Oversee operation and maintenance of M&E services in the Department Store;

2. Develop, optimize the preventive and predictive maintenance system.

3. Check, monitor and manage the system of machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth operation of the buildings

4. Responsible and take lead to resolve technical issues and perform failure analysis, handle technical issues with other departments and internally with team members

5. Ensuring safety issues of store, daily on-site checking.

6. Coordinate and liaise with M&E team of landlord to ensure smooth store operation.

Management role:

1. Training field staff in monitoring and evaluation processes and providing ongoing coaching.

2. Develop KPI & target for M&E team.

3. Managing contractors/outsourcing companies.

4. Managing and coordinating with internal and external parties to ensure on quality of project, safety and compliance.

5. Developing weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual reports depending on project requirements.

• Bachelor Degree with related major (Architect, Electric Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, HVAC, Civil Engineer)

• At least 05-year experience in M&E in which at least 03-year experience in managerial position;

• Experience in working for MNC, department store, buildings is favorable;

• Good at English for all skills: speaking, writing, listening & reading;

• Proficient in professional computer software AutoCAD (including handwriting), MS Office.

• Writing reports, proposals with pricing and business correspondence.

• Analytical and problems solving skills.

• In-depth knowledge of M&E and related Laws and Regulations (especially Fire Fighting regulation)

• Being able to work independently while owning a strong teamwork spirit;

• Hard working & trustworthy;
