Junior Coffee Trader & Trading Assistant

As a Junior Coffee Trader at TLC, you will be an integral part of our trading team, responsible for facilitating the buying and selling of green coffee beans on the international market. Your primary duties will include:

• Assisting senior traders in executing trades and managing transactions.

• Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

• Negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers and buyers.

• Monitoring shipment schedules and ensuring timely delivery of coffee orders.

• Building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.

• Managing documentation and compliance requirements for international trade.

• English Fluency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for conducting negotiations and correspondence with international clients and partners.

• Good command of Chinese is an advantage

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities are required to assess market conditions, evaluate risk factors, and make informed trading decisions.

• Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers is essential for effective negotiation and collaboration.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail is necessary for managing documentation, contracts, and transactional data accurately.

• Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in English, business, finance, economics, or a related field is preferred.
