Import & Export Executive

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Import-Export Specialist to manage customs procedures and documentation for chemical goods and machinery. This role requires expertise in handling regulatory compliance, obtaining necessary licenses, and ensuring smooth customs clearance for imports and exports. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international trade, customs regulations, and specific procedures related to chemicals and industrial equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire import-export process, including the preparation and submission of all necessary documentation for customs clearance.

• Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely processing of shipments.

• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs laws for both imports and exports.

• Prepare and submit customs declarations, including HS codes, tariffs, and relevant paperwork for all shipments.

• Monitor and update import/export records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with all applicable standards.

• Handle the tracking of goods and resolve any issues related to shipping, customs clearance, or transportation.

• Assist with the preparation of import-export reports and keep stakeholders informed of shipment statuses.

• Stay up to date with changing regulations and procedures related to import/export and customs.

• Implement and submit the precursor chemical report documents in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export, logistics, or customs procedures.

• Strong understanding of global trade laws, customs processes, and international shipping regulations.

• Knowledge of import-export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping instructions.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with customs authorities, suppliers, and customers.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics software/systems.

• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.
