About the Role:
The Head of HRBP will lead a team of HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and play a critical role in partnering with business leaders to implement HR activities effectively. This role will serve as a key liaison between the business units and the HR Center of Excellence (COEs) and HR Services function, ensuring seamless execution of HR programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative and results-oriented individual with a proven track record of building strong relationships, driving HR program implementation, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
I. Implementation Focus:
• HR Program Implementation: Partner with the COEs (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits) to implement HR programs and initiatives within assigned business units. This includes:
• Recruitment & Onboarding: Supporting the hiring process and ensuring smooth onboarding for new hires.
• Training & Development: Coordinating and facilitating training programs, supporting employee development initiatives, and tracking training effectiveness.
• Performance Management: Driving the performance management process, ensuring timely performance reviews, and providing support to managers.
• Employee Relations Activities: Supporting employee relations activities, including handling employee requests, resolving minor conflicts, and escalating complex issues.
• Liaison with HR Services: Act as the primary point of contact between the business units and the HR Services function, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of HR administrative services.
II. Advisory Focus:
• Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership within assigned business units, understanding their business needs and translating them into actionable HR plans. This includes:
• Strategic Workforce Planning: Analyzing workforce trends, forecasting future talent needs, and developing workforce plans to support business objectives.
• Organizational Development: Partnering with business leaders to design and implement organizational development initiatives that enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and employee engagement.
• Talent Management Strategy: Collaborating with the Talent Management COE to develop and implement talent management strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, and career development programs.
• Change Management Consulting: Providing guidance and support on change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions, and minimizing disruption.
• Performance Consulting: Coaching and advising managers on how to improve employee performance, provide effective feedback, and address performance issues.
• Needs Assessment: Proactively identify and assess the HR needs of the business units, working with the COEs to develop tailored solutions.
• HR Metrics & Reporting: Monitor key HR metrics and provide regular updates to business leaders on the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
III. Leadership & Team Management:
• Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of HRBPs, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HRBP role.
• Proven experience leading and developing a team of HR professionals.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations.
• Deep knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders and influence decision-making.
• Strong project management and execution skills.
• Experience working with HR COEs and shared services models.
• Experience with HRIS systems and data analytics.
