Job summary:
The Country Sales Manager – Freight Forwarding, Vietnam will lead sales growth, expand market share, and strengthen the company’s position. The ideal candidate must have strong leadership skills, fluent English, and expertise in prepaid business sales within the freight forwarding industry.
This role involves managing the sales team, building client relationships, and ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations. A deep understanding of pricing strategies, market trends, and competitor analysis is essential to drive sustainable growth.
With 12+ years of experience in logistics sales, the candidate must align local strategies with corporate goals, drive revenue, and enhance operational efficiency while seizing new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Business Growth
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and market expansion goals.
• Identify new business opportunities, drive customer acquisition, and strengthen existing client
relationships.
• Leverage industry insights to position the company as a preferred freight forwarding partner.
2. Prepaid Business & Market Development
• Lead the growth of prepaid business sales, ensuring sustainable revenue streams.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
• Expand the company’s footprint in key industries by providing customized logistics solutions
3. Leadership & Team Management
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, setting clear targets and KPIs.
• Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
4. Client & Stakeholder Engagement
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Drive negotiations and ensure the company delivers value-driven logistics solutions.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and business forums.
5. Financial & Operational Performance
• Manage sales budgets, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis.
• Ensure adherence to financial targets and cost-control measures.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance insights to senior management.
• Compliance & Market Adaptation.
Yêu cầu công việc
• Vietnamese national with strong leadership and English communication skills.
• 12+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record in logistics.
• Strong knowledge of the Vietnamese market and industry trends.
• Hands-on experience in pre-paid business sales.
• Managerial experience leading sales teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and data-driven decision-making.
