Custody Services Staff

I- General tasks

To engage in Custody team to be responsible for implementing Custody services operations and relevant projects.

II- Accountability

A- Project related:

- Assist in preparation for documentations, facilities requirements and testing for KRX project with VSDC and stock exchanges;

- Review and contribute to improve operational manuals & work-flows (if necessary) to ensure smooth, safe and compliant operations;

- Prepare testing scenarios and perform system testing; probably work overtime if the required by the project;

- Assist to compose request forms, instruction templates and other transactional documents;

- Other preparations for new clients onboarding, implementing KRX project, CCP model or other assignments or project-related tasks.

B- Services operations:

- Receive client information and advise/guide clients to complete account opening documents; monitor and assist clients in fulfilling their requests during service using process;

- Proceed custody accounts opening: register new securities trading code; open new securities depository account; new IICA, update client information change(s); conduct account migration, closing processes.

- Receive securities depository requests of all kinds, proceed documents and online transactions with VSDC;

- Execute trade settlement and clearing processes including balance confirmations to broker, money blockade, trades reconciliation, trades pre-match & settlement, data reconciliation, clients’ asset reconciliation; confirmation to VSDC; Nostro & suspense accounts reconciliation;

- Perform foreign exchange transactions and remittance transactions;

- Monitor and execute corporate actions related to securities owned by clients for announcement, entitlement, payment, rights exercising stages;

- Attend meetings and cast the vote on behalf of clients if authorized;

- Manage tax (FCT) on behalf of clients and manage fee collection;

- Prepare periodic reports according to internal requirements and regulatory authorities’ requirements or client’s request;

- Monitor and update market news, laws & regulations changes, new market practices, new procedures and market holidays to notify clients;

- Cooperate with SSD Head Office teams to respond to client’s inquiry or resolve any arisen issues;

- Other responsibilities related to Custody services activities and duties assigned by Management.

- Bachelor degree or higher in Economics/Finance/Investment/Accounting or relevant field;

- At least 2 years experienced in same role at securities firms or custodian banks;

- Knowledge of securities market operations, custody services activities, VSDC regulations & procedures;

- Willing to work after office hour in case clients locate in different time zones or projects require;

- Good command of English (writing and speaking); strong computing skills;

- Sense of accountability and team-work, proactive and prudent attitudes, analytical and problem-solving skills, competency for working under pressure.
