Contract & Logistics Management Executive

Olam Food Ingredients (ofi) is a global leader offering naturally good food & beverage ingredients and solutions. ofi commenced operations in Vietnam in 1997, setting up its representative office. Since then, we have established an extensive presence across different parts of Vietnam, including our head office in Ho Chi Minh City and regional offices in Binh Dinh, Long An, Dong Nai, Phu Yen, Lamdong and Gialai Provinces.

ofi Vietnam is currently the largest exporter of Cashews, Pepper & Instant Coffee in Vietnam, investing in the state-of-the-art instant coffee facility and running 7 large factories with 7,500 employees across Central & South Vietnam. Our operations have an interface with a farmer network of 2 million farmers. We are also amongst the largest exporter of Green Coffee in Vietnam.

We have established sustainability programmers for black pepper, coffee & cashew. We are excited about our future prospects in Vietnam as the country has huge potential in agriculture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Contract and Logistic team across Nut factories

• Review sale contracts and contact customers/suppliers for updating

• Coordinate with Shipment department to prepare import/ export shipping documents for customers and closely follow up to ensure smooth shipment and delivery of goods

• Follow up and update production status and vessel schedule to customers

• Sourcing and cost negotiation

• Vendor management and performance evaluation.

• Maintaining a good relationship with existing customers and suppliers

• Solving problems at customer place in case technical issues occur upon our provided products.

• Working closely with functional includes Shipment, Warehouse, QA, Production to align Logistic and Purchasing operations with the overall business plan

• Bachelor of economics/ business administration/ foreign trade.

• Good management and leadership skills

• Proven stakeholder management skill, including regulatory bodies and key customer relationship

• Experience in contract review, international import & export and documentation particularly.

• Good oral & written communication skill (English and Vietnamese)

• Good computer literacy. Able to work independently and as part of team, pro-active attitude.

• Time management skills are required.

• SAP or related software knowledge

• Working Time: Monday - Friday (8:00 -17:00) Saturday (8:00 – 12:00)
