Chief Accountant Australian Company | Flexible Hours

Australian SaaS company in District 1, looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to join our management team.This part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week) is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working with both local and international teams.

Important: This role requires full commitment and cannot be done alongside another full-time job.

Your Responsibilities:

- Managing all aspects of accounting, from invoice creation to P&L and balance sheet reporting

- Handling staff contracts, social insurance, PIT. (Note: This role does NOT involve recruitment)

- Applying for and managing work permits and TRCs for foreign workers.

- Overseeing Fast Accounting or similar platforms such as Xero.

- Ensuring compliance with Vietnamese government regulations

- Working independently and taking initiative

- Acting as the financial leader, making informed decisions and proactively improving processes.

Experience & Skills:

- Proven experience as an Accountant, Finance Manager, or Chief Accountant.

- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards and regulations.

- Experience managing both local and foreign employees.

- Familiarity with Fast Accounting, Xero, or similar accounting software.

- Ability to reconcile multiple bank accounts and work with both Australian and Vietnamese financial systems.

- Good English (written and spoken).
