Position Title: Assistant Brand Manager - Finish
Function: Marketing
Location: Vietnam
Manager: Group Brand Manager
POSITION PURPOSE
The position resides within the country marketing function and covers key elements of country brand marketing activities. This position is intended with close supervision and through projects and delegated responsibilities on a brand provides exposure and development to the essential areas of the marketing mix and marketing competencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
• To assist Group Brand Manager/ Brand Manager in developing brand strategies and plans
• To be responsible for translating brand plans into effective execution plans for all channels through working closely with cross functions, partners, agencies
• To manage brand budget and update to line manager to ensure effective and efficient investment, handle document tracking and filing for A&P payment, accrual process
• To work with agencies to deliver excellent execution as of alignment with line managers, cross-functions
• To work with Sales & Trade team to ensure branding and promotion activities aligned with approved brand strategy & brand guideline
• To monitor innovation/rejuvenation projects with other cross-functions
• To produce timely analysis of major brand activities and ensure learnings are captured and fed back into the brand plan
• To monitor and analyse brand and competitor performance to identify and outline strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and to recommend business building/defense initiatives
• To conduct frequent trade and consumer visits
• Contribute to the creation of a team based, collaborative environment especially with Trade Sales, Media, E-commerce, Supply Chain and other functions, promoting candor and receptivity, clarity of purpose and goals, and high commitment to achieve business goal
• To build and maintain strong partnership with strategic partners while continuously expanding corporation with new partners. Propel relevant Co-marketing and branding activities to support for PIP (penetration increasing program) activities with partners and manage to deploy correctly.
• To work closely with global strategic alliance team for applying PIP marketing initiatives for VN market.
Yêu cầu công việc
Educational Attainment: Educated to minimum bachelor’s degree level in a business-related subject - from a recognized University
Professional: Minimum 2 years experiences working in international FMCG business environment, Brand Marketing
Expected Areas of Competence:
• Proven good writing, speaking and editing skills, in local language and English
• Ability to deliver value added business results through superior execution
• Ability to work effectively across functions in a matrix organization, to coordinate and work through a network of agencies/consultants
• Effective time management and organizational skills, with ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment and balance multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet and exceed deadlines
• Self-motivated, proactive and capable of working both within teams and independently
• Demonstrates ability to work in an ambiguous, unpredictable and complex environment. Able to maintain professionalism, proactiveness; demonstrates flexibility, open-mindedness and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment
• Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with all levels of staff and management
• Is open and responsive to feedback to improve performance of self and team
